What has always amazed me about Hawaii is that EVERYONE can scratch. Like FOR REAL FOR REAL! When cats out there say they DJ... they REALLY DJ!!! Even the most unsuspecting looking cat can kill it on the cut. Either way, my fam DJ Revise just posted this video and so i decided to share. Got to DJ "The Bug Out" last weekend and here's a clip from the FINAL round. Cros and Riz wanted hip hop so that's what I pulled out for the finale. Big up all the homies who came through, esepcially the homies Lil Rock and Vietnam for making the trip back to the Six One Nina... One thing I was always told back in the day was to NEVER try to do something while you're spinning that you have never practiced at home. I think I should try to adhere to that rule of thumb more. The only thing is... I think that I am addicted to doin' sh*t without practicing. It boosts confidence and makes the set that much more fun to spin. Either way... I train wrecked quite a few times rockin this set. You will see what I mean when you listen. Enjoy and please don't judge me too harshly. Hahahah! Peace!
