DJ MASSACRE back at it AGAIN!!! .:Sep 10 10:.
Back in the day I used to "manage" SD"s Playtime Attractions and Orchestra The Turntable Emsamble featuring our very own Kidragon, known as "Re-Ron" back then... yeah I said it Ron, WHAT?!?!?! This was before I was kindly kicked out for being an asshole... ehh I deserved it. Anywho... the homies were all about battling, scratching and REALLY reppin SD on the turntablist platform... and doin it WELL! One of the cats who were REALLY makin his name known on the battle scene was DJ Massacre. He took some time off to do the grown up thing and was DJing under his actual name DJ Bandoma. After winning a local battle overthis summer I guess now he"s back CRUSHIN kids... I hope thats the case anyway... Either way, I had to post his routine here for you to enjoy. How he only got 2nd place with this routine, I don;t know... Either way BIG UP MASSACRE!!! GETTEM BROTHER!!!

pie... .:Aug 10 10:.
Over the weekend I did some music editing for a family friend. All on GP really, it was no big deal, but to them it was... For this service they tried offering me money, their daughters hand in marriage, etc... but I was like NAH... It's cool. So they paid me by baking me this DELICIOUS peach cheesecake. HOLY SOMBRERO OF PANCHO VILLA! I loved pie before... but this one makes me see that before??? I was only consuming pie... TODAY... I can now say that "I have eaten pie". This pie has changed my life... so much so that I felt compelled to share this experience with you, whether you care or not. Just imagine if you will... a LIGHT, not THICK cheesecakey... (if that's even a word...) almost MILK like texture, flavored with condesned milk and a light cinnamon... with a layer of carmelized peaches... covered AGAin with a layer of this light... almost NOT FULLY BAKED, milky cheese cake. WOW!!! That's all I can say. Okay... I just had to share this experience with you. Back to my cheesecake. I will keep you updated on my progress of finishing this pie. F*** A DIET!!!
KAMIKAZI AIRLINES .:Aug 10 10:.
I was privileged enough to be tapped to do a mix for Dizzy Dustin's label KAMIKAZI AIRLINES. From my understanding I am one of two representatives in the US? Something like that... On this mix you will hear music from the homies of The Vox Merger, Mr J Medeiros, The Argyle Pimps, Blown Celeb, Triple Helix as well as MANY other MCs you need to keep an eye out for. Anywho... you can download this FREE mix HERE! Enjoy!
Scratch Hack??? .:Aug 03 10:.
Ok... so growing up, we were HEAVILY into BMX riding... It's what we did. Anywho... These twins who lived up the street rode around on a bike with a sidehack that their dad welded together for them. Something like the pic below. Pretty sick really... (Pic stolen)
...But I guess they're taking it to a WHOLE other level. It's called a "Scratch hack." Please... I don't know why... Where would I use it??? Don't ask...
Bring Back Letter Form... .:Jul 30 10:.
Ges (3A, UPS) has always been one of my favorite artists for his letter structure and color schemes. He is downright NASTY widdit. What I always liked most though was that he never went TOO abstract with his letter forms. A lot of kids now-a-days go SO abstract that you can't even see that the letters ACTUALLY spell something out. I mean it's cool... I don't mean any dis to those who are all about gettin all crazy with the colors and what not. But you get what I'm sayin... Anywho, I stumbled on this and thought... COOL!!! Someone else feels the same way I do...
Ges: “Ive said it before, I’ll say it again… this is my favorite stage of a piece… everything from this point on is bells, whistles and tricks to dress it up and prove you can. The rough sketch is stand alone style (or lack thereof) This stage has the most energy, style and flavor… Like a singer with no stage, lights, soundboard, and backup dancers.. Graff lately seems like the movie industry with special effects… no real focus on the plot (style), just a race to see who can develop the latest special effect to “ooh” and “ahh” the viewers… Can you have both plot and effect? sure… but some of the best films in history had no budget… just a strong plot. One day I’m going to throw up my outline, and leave.. And I’ll like the wall better than with all that glitter smoke and mirrors that is graffiti these days.”
